Hi all,
I receive a lot of messages asking me to explain the various revision resources available on my website. Many people who sign up for my live courses or go back to the recordings often say, ‘If only I came across these resources before!’. So, in order to make things easier - here’s a definitive list.
Past Papers and Reports: If you want to review past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports - you can find them in my shared folder here. I would stress that examiners’ reports are invaluable, they give you model paragraphs and the latest advice from examiners.
YouTube video - how to revise: You can access my youtube conversation with two ex students on how they revised. I also did a essay predictions for edexcel UK politics and a contemporary examples webinar.
YouTube Revision Predictions: If you are interested in revision
The Ultimate Revision Workshops: Since January I have been working with students online, working through essays and giving the latest contemporary examples and analysis. You can access the courses here. Each series has four video lessons and slides - that’s over 6 hours of video. Here’s a quick breakdown of topics covered:
Series 1 - we looked at Political Parties and Democracy
Series 2 - we looked at Voting Behaviour and Elections
Series 3 - we looked at Constitution and Parliament
Series 4 - WE START TODAY AT 6:30 - we are starting Executive and moving onto Relations Between the Branches
Revision Day Reordings: Last week i condensed the above sessions in a UK Politics revision day and a Political Ideas revision day. These focussed on what I see to be the most realistic questions that may come up in your exam. If you want to purchase the recordings and resources, you can find them here.
Politics Revision Guide: If you want help with revision - purchase my UK Politics revision essay guide from Amazon. I focus on lots of essay plans with contemporary examples.
